A little late...oops!

So our trip to Cincinatti for the start of Spring Break was AWESOME! I love going to visit my sis and her family, we just connect like no other and we all had a BLAST! So....I guess I will start from my trip going up there...

We left on a Thursday...I picked Bray up from school and headed on the road....I chose to leave after her school so I could POSSIBLY gaurantee a couple hours of sleep on the car ride. (and before I forget...this trip was only braylen and i) So we are off and traveling and she eventually doses off within the first 45 mins......I was excited and was ready to jam out to my tunes and just enjoy the ride....UNTIL.......we hit TRAFFIC...yes traffic...mid afternoon right as we have crossed into Tennesse.....grrrr! I guess I was okay with the Traffic until Braylen woke up because naturally when a moving car comes to a stop...your body adjust and realizes and then wakes up. So she is now awake...what to do....I popped in Little Nemo (2 hour movie) and was then going to bank on that for a good while....! Well, that didn't work...she wanted more entertainment....MUSIC...HER MUSIC.....we listen to it DAILY...probably 3 times a day....grrr!!! So here I am thinking...this ride is going to be F O R E V E R! And it was actually! Long story short...by the time we got to Knoxville or through it really...we pulled off...filled up on gas....got an early dinner at Subway, changed diaper, mommy went potty as well, and then back on the road for the rest of the trip. From that stop on, we were GOLDEN...she stayed up for a little bit but then was able to catch up on her lost nap till we arrived at Lis's house. NOW ON TO THE GOOD STUFF....

So that evening was just hanging out and catching up...kids were in bed...nothing really special! Then Friday....Adam had to work and Lis had to work that morning...so Bray and I played with Bodie and then he went down forhis morning nap and then Bray and I did our workout together and then played outside ALL morning with the neighbors little kids....it was actually a lot of fun! Braylen had a ball getting to play with the older girls! We then came in for lunch and Bodie woke up so the kids were able to play again and then it was time for Bray's nap! Lis and I decided to sit on the deck ALL afternoon and enjoy the gorgeous weather and just chat......we never have NOTHING to talk about! Bodie also joined us and was very good....that kid amazes me....just how patient, well mannered, and relax/chill he is, my kid is COMPLETE opposite...ha!

Saturday then rolled around and we were planning on going to the Cincinnati Zoo but the early rain showers held us back so we did the Aquarium instead......this was slightly interesting. I am not going to lie...aquariums to me are BORING and I feel like once you have seen a shark you have seen them all but I know it is fun for the kids...but I swear I yawned about TWENTY BILLION times....! Braylen did fairly well except for she didn't care for the rainforest exhibit....the birds flying and chirping really LOUD and teasing all the other veiwers just scared her to death...I don't blame her though....i was a little annoyed with the birds also. Bodie slepted most of the time so I am sure he will be going back! After we left the aquarium there was some fun entertainment outside....a BALLOON maker and a juggler and just families everywhere enjoying the afternoon.....oh...the weather had finally cleared up! So we did that for about an hour then we went inside another building to grab a picture of the kids with the EASTER BUNNY. Bodie....of course...just stayed there and was a good little BOY...Braylen.....was squeezing me SO TIGHT....and looked at me like if I put her down...she is going to make my afternoon miserable.....so BODIE got his picture....we didn't......there are plenty of EASTERS to come, I guess! Then that evening we went to the neighbors for a pizza party and corn hole party....it was a really good time and once again Braylen was SUPER entertained by all the kids playing with her.

Easter morning was the next day and the kids loved their baskets and fun goodies from the easter bunny....! Uncle Adam made his specialty waffles for us and then we all loaded up and went to church. That afternoon we all laid around and enjoyed each others company while the kiddos slepts....then we went to eat Mexican...yuck for me....ha!

Braylen and I woke up Monday morning and loaded up and headed home. The trip home was awesome. She slept most of the morning and then we stopped to get lunch and take a break....gas, potty, you know the drill and then we both enjoyed the ride back to Cumming. She did excellent on the way home! This was a WONDERFUL trip and we can't wait to go back for Bodie's birthday!
