The Cat is out!!!

Official announcement, Grant and I are expecting baby #2! Yep, 13 weeks and 3 days today! My due date is potentially Oct. 2nd! We are very excited and the sickness is slowly going away...thank goodness!

I had my 12 week doc's appt yesterday and did all the testing for downsymdrome etc. Per measurements...everything looks normal! Not sure what the blood work will say! The heart beat was 144 and they said I looked good. I have gained 4lbs since my last visit and so that will total to be 8lbs in all thus far.....oh my goodness....am I ready to grow again....lol!

I did find out though that my mid-wife who delivered me is moving in May! I am actually VERY sad about it because she helped bring Braylen in this world and I was REALLY looking forward to her doing the same with this one...however...that won't be the case! I get to see her one last time at my 16 week visit....so I am excited and will bring her something special to say we appreciate her being apart of our lives!

So that is it for now, however, below are some post that I drafted during the very beginning if you are intrested in catching up with where we started! Enjoy! (oh, and how I posted them...it went directly to the date that I posted....so it goes back to Feb. 9th or something like that....I thought it would have been in order by just posting them right now....apparently not...sorry!)

OUCH!

So here is a picture of Braylen's FIRST BIG boo boo! We were playing outside all afternoon and the little busy body just got caught up on the deck steps and tumbled down to the concrete padding! Yes, she cried.....but we didn't realize the boo boo until 5 minutes later when she was playing around again and I was like....WAIT...Braylen, come here....WHAT IS ON YOUR HEAD? OUCH!!! It hurts us more to look at it but I really don't think she knows it is there...ha!

We also had a fun visitor this past weekend. UNCLE (HOWIE) Derek! He was so good with Braylen and I really think they enjoyed their time together! While Braylen and Derek played....Grant and I were able to eat dinner without interuption....it was so nice! She wanted to be whereve Uncle Howie was!

And one last fun happening.....I was upstairs working and doing stuff in her room while Braylen was downstairs playing! Sure enough when I came downstairs she had taken her diaper off and was running around with a BARE BOOTIE! I was like Braylen...."where's your diaper?" "did Addie get it?" I looked everywhere and still couldn't find it finally I went to the kitchen trash and low and behold the wet diaper was in there. It cracked me up because she must of wanted to change her diaper but didn't come and get me so she decided to be a BIG GIRL and do it herself. Introducing the POTTY in the next couple of weeks! She is already interested so I look forward to seeing how she reacts to it.

Braylen is just about into everything these days....she is an extremely busy little girl and keeps me moving! Below is a run down of some new things that are going on in Braylen's life:

1.) Braylen tells us she has gone (TeTe) which means...poopoo or pee but she is telling us that she has gone to the bathroom which is WONDERFUL.....first step to potential potty training...ha!

2.) Braylen LOVES to color.....and to that, she loves to COLOR ANYTHING....the floor, the table, the carpet......!

3.) Words or Phrases Braylen speaks: Come on Addie, Banana, Tete, Apple, Cheese, BABY, Hot, Cold, Bath, NO, Yea (need to turn that into Yes Mam....still working on that), Book, Bunny, head, Mama, Dada, Mimi, still working on the other names, Nana (hannah) G.G. (mom and dad's dog), Gold Fish, Movie, Kitty Cat, and many more....just can't think right now because I am ready to move on to tell you other things.

4.) Sounds Braylen makes: She clicks her tongue to get Addie's attention (hilarious,) her laughter is the most AMAZING sound in the WORLD! She moo's, she quacks, she neigh's, she baaaa's, she doesn't bark like a dog but she licks like a dog and makes a slobbering noise, she sings but it sounds like (lallllaaaaalallllaaaa), she SCREAMS, she CLAPS all the time, she LOVES to blow bubbles in the water to make the bubbling noise.

5.) Braylen loves to HUG you and KISS you when you are trying to put her to sleep....she starts to do this so she doesn't have to go night, night! It is awful sweet though. She loves to blow kisses and that kiss sound needs to go to #4 because she makes that SOUND so good!.

6.) Braylen's favorite SONG is "if your happy and you know it, clap your hands" she is so good at all the motions, she also enjoys "head, shoulder, knees and toe"

7.) Speaking of body parts...Braylen knows all bodyparts except for "leg, arm, and back" but hey...knowing everything else is Pretty good to me!

8.) Braylen loves to watch movies.....and they have to be certain type of movies....she is pretty picky!

9.) Braylen loves to HOLD YOUR HAND....I know that won't last so this is super special to me....she always wants to hold my hand so I never want to let go....ha!

10.) Braylen will eat anything you are eating but when it is time for her to sit down and it....it can be a struggle. She is getting sick of sweet potatoes but has learned to love apples....so somewhat of an even switch...ha!

11.) She loves to walk ADDIE....she looks for to that EVERY afternoon and giving Addie her TREAT!

12.) Braylen loves to take things out and then put back in...example...all her books....takes them out of the bend and then puts them all back. Her drawers...takes all her clothes out and then puts them back in....! Our laundry basket....takes it all out and puts right back in.

Confirmation Visit

Tuesday, March 2nd was my first of many visits to the doctors to confirm the pregnancy! It went well and I got to see the little babe. The heartrate was 165 and I am 9 weeks and 4 days! My due date is potentially October 2nd.



Still super nausous, so the doctor wrote me a perscription to take but not sure if I will get it filled considering this stage SHOULD HOPEFULLY be done soon! I will see how I feel next week!
